The Signal: Simple Magic for Real Life
Seasonal. Simple. Intentional.
The Signal is a weekly practice in noticing what’s already here - and doing something with it.
Not complicated rituals.
Not perfect conditions.
Not a complete personality overhaul.
Just simple, grounded magic you can use in your actual life.
My own practice is rooted in simple living, steeped in ritual.
Not the 12-step kind (although I respect a good process), but the kind that lives in your day-to-day. The way you move through your space. The way you notice what’s shifting. The way you choose to engage with it.
Most people overcomplicate magic.
It’s actually built on attention.
In working with energy instead of ignoring it.
A spell, for me, can take anywhere from 30 seconds to a full lunar cycle.
But most often? It lands somewhere in the 3–10 minute range.
And over time, I’ve found something to be consistently true:
The simpler the spell, the more intention I can pour into it.
And intention is the most powerful ingredient there is.
Not expensive tools.
Not perfectly memorized words.
Not aesthetic setups that look good but feel disconnected.
Just clarity.
Saying what is on your heart, your mind, your tongue, and being honest about what you’re inviting in.
There’s one more piece most people skip.
The letting go.
Every spell I do is sealed the same way: "This or something better."
Because magic isn’t about control.
It’s about participation and trust.
It’s the willingness to act, and the willingness to release the outcome.
This first offering of The Signal moves through a six-week arc.
Not as a strict path.
Not as something you have to follow perfectly.
But as a rhythm.
We begin by building - naming what you actually want.
We learn to hold it - creating space, steadiness, and support.
We shift into becoming - stepping into the version of you who can receive it.
We root - inviting in the people, systems, and support that sustain it.
We cut - releasing what no longer fits, even when that’s uncomfortable.
And finally, we integrate - letting it land, letting it be real, letting it be enough.
This arc isn’t built on elaborate tools or perfectly curated spaces.
I’ve created these spells using what most of us already have available to us.
Because the most important tool isn’t something you can buy.
It’s your willingness to show up and do the work.
Everything else is just support.
You don’t need to get it “right.”
Just meet the work where you are - and let it meet you there.
